One of a Kind!
Have you ever seen a unicorn? We had. And it’s not a joke. NextGen made sure everyone has a chance to witness those majestic creatures every now and then. Just log in any house you like the most and find the Unicorn Legend slot.
Unicorn Legend is a modern video slot. It features standard 5 reels and 25 lines. The lines are not fixed. You may choose how many you want to play on. The design is a bit sloppy: the background is extremely colorful and full of details that keep catching your eyes. So overall, the screen seems hard to look at for a long time, let alone concentrate on the game.
The backdrop is also animated: glittering and glowing pixies are flying all over the place. That actually adds to the confusion. The reels are unicolored, thank heaven: such pinkish off-white hue looks relaxing given the situation.
The gameplay is so standard one may call it retro. It’s been a while since we had a chance to review a slot with pickable lines and standard betting settings. The gameplay is also traditional. There are two modes: the main and the bonus one.
The main mode features wins from hitting tiles’ combinations. While the bonus mode features free spins and multipliers along with some extra gambling features.
Let’s speak about the regular mode first. To win here, you need to hit a combo of identical tiles on the line you have chosen. The combos are standard tile combinations starting on the leftmost reel. There are supposed to be at least three tiles in a combo. Some tiles are borrowed from cards.
The combination of five 9s or 10s is worth 100x the line wager. Jacks or Queens are paid 125x the line bet for five. And finally, Aces and Kings are worth 200x if you hit five in a row. The other four tiles are designed to fit the main theme of the machine: they are all about legends, fairy tales and dreams.
The combination of five Magic Owls or Flowers will be paid 500x the line wager. A Castle is worth 1,000x the line bet for five of a kind. And the highest-paid regular tile of the slot is the Fairy. Five of those are paid 2,000 times the line wager.
You might wonder where the unicorn is in the self-titled slot. It is a Wild tile. It substitutes any tiles that are missing from the combos. The Wild appears on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels only. Another special mode activating tile is a Scatter. It is a tile with an elaborate knotwork.
First, it may be a regular paytile and is paid for combinations not only left to right but any other way too. The combination of five Scatters is worth 200 times the total spin bet.
But the Scatter’s main function is to trigger the Free Spin games. For this, you need to hit at least three scattered tiles anywhere on the reels. Afterwards, you would be given a choice between 10, 15 or 20 free games.
You wonder where the catch is? If you choose 20 spins on the house, each win with a Wild Unicorn tile will come with a multiplier, namely, by 2, by 3 or by 4. If you go with 15 free games, then the multiplier will be higher: 4x, 5x or 6x.
And finally, if you choose the smallest number of games — 10, then your multiplier will be 6x, 8x or 12x. So better think twice! The feature can also be re-triggered. It is played at the wager of the triggering spin.
Finally, the most awesome perk of the slot — the gambling feature. If you win, you might gamble your win in a simple game. To activate the gamble mode, just press the Gamble button on the control panel.
First, you will be offered a card face down. You have to guess either its suit or its color. If you guess the suit, your win is multiplied 4 times. If you guess the color, it will be doubled. You may gamble your wins up to five times if you wish so.
Unicorn Legend features the most standard betting system ever. Betting requires you to choose the lines first. Then you choose the line wager: anywhere from 0.01 to 3.00 credits. Thus, your total wager may go from 0.25 to 75.00 credits.
There are Max buttons for the lines and the line bets, in case you don’t feel like pressing the ‘+’ knob. Spinning is done in either manual or automatic modes.
See, now you don’t have to be a Harry Potter or a Magician or a Geralt of Rivia to see a unicorn in flesh and blood. Join us at Unicorn Legend. Here, Unicorns are not that hard to spot, and they pay. Can a legend get any better?
