Why Settle for Less? Play Platinum!
The house went online in 2004. It is licensed by Malta authorities, Kahnawake Gaming commission, and holds eCOGRA seal of approval. Legal gambling age in the house is 18. Anyone can join, but there are plenty of restricted territories. The UK and the USA gamblers are in this unlucky bunch.
What’s the deal?
When it comes to games, the choice at Platinum Play is top-tier. There are over 700 titles, and those are not only slots, plenty of table games, scratch cards, video poker machines and many more. If you are into slots, you will be delighted. The selection of progressive titles is extremely impressive.
Their total jackpot equals over $18 mil. All the titles are by Microgaming. Any gambler knows them, right? And there is no need to describe how good and trustworthy they are. Apart from the regular house, there is a live dealer lobby.
It’s powered by Evolution and features plenty of poker, baccarat, blackjack and roulette tables. Also, there is Dreamcatcher. It’s a bit of a show-off, but we all love it anyway, admit it.
Boring Basics 101
If you are ready to join the Platinum Play casino, get ready for the standard registration procedure. First you fill in the form and create your account, then you confirm it either using an email or via the phone. Then you are ready for a deposit.
Check the lists below for the best method for you. You see, there are plenty to choose from, so take your time and choose wisely. Don’t forget about the promos that are available to newbies on their first three deposits. You might want to take one of those, right?
- Visa Electron
- Bank Wire Swift
- Credit cards
- Click and Buy
- Skrill Moneybookers
- Debit cards
- Bank Transfer
Any withdrawal has to be approved by the house. It usually takes at least 24 hours. Be prepared to provide documents to verify your account: scans of a utility bill, a credit card, and your driver’s license. It’s done for security reasons only. Nothing personal.
Any withdrawals may be subject to a fee at the discretion of the casino. That is the only information we managed to find on the site. Not a word is said on the exact sums, but one: if you withdraw less than $500, then you have to pay a $5 fee. The times also remained a mystery.
There is only one thing we know about the limits, you can't withdraw more than €10,000 a day. The house tries to process the payments as soon as possible. That’s it. Guess that’s the information you have to request from the support. Reading fine print hasn’t done us any good.
Perks and yummies
The information on promos is even more scarce. There is only one promo with a description. It’s a welcome deal. The Welcome Promo is a match deal of up to $800 on the first three deposits for new players only. How does it work? On your first deposit you will get a 100% match of up to $400, and on the second and third you will get the same 100% match but the tops will be only $200 per each.
Thus, you get $800 in total. The minimal deposit for the deal is $10. Don’t forget about the playthrough. At Platinum Play, you have to roll the bonus over 70 times before the withdrawal.
Allegedly there are many more promos and bonuses available to the casino regulars on the daily, weekly and monthly basis, but there is no further information on any of those deals. To get it, visit your account and take a look at the dashboard.
There, all the promos available to you will be displayed. Don't forget to read the fine print regarding the rollover. Better safe than sorry. As for the rollover, by the way, you can meet it playing basically any of the allowed games in the house. But their rollover contributions will be different. See the table below for details.
|All slots, Keno or Scratch Card games
|All table pokers, all roulettes, all video pokers, all blackjacks and War
|Classic Blackjacks, all aces video pokers, all Jacks or Better video pokers
|All baccarats, all craps, Red Dog, Sic Bo, Progressive Jackpots
In a nutshell
We really enjoyed the selection of games at Platinum Play. Microgaming is trustworthy and their games are fair and random. And they are fun. There are many progressive titles. The live dealer lobby by Evolution is perfect. The selection of tables might have been more diverse, but we were happy with what they already offer.
What we didn't really enjoy was the lack of any information regarding banking methods. Not a word about times, limits or fees, except for they do exist. Promotions are also in the grey area. Only one of them is mentioned on the site.
Don’t know about you, but we rarely enjoy such a lack of information. It always ends up with you having long and thoughtful conversations with the support manager. If you don’t mind spending your time this way, join Platinum Play, the games here are certainly worth it.
